Job summary

TikTok Design Team is offering an internship to design AI products for a global audience. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape user-centric AI experiences from concept through launch.

We seek undergrads in HCI, AI, CS, Design, or related fields with strong UI/UX skills, a passion for AI, and a collaborative mindset. Rolling applications and two-position limit apply.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in HCI, AI, Computer Science, Design, Psychology, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong interaction and UI skills; proficient in Figma and familiar with iOS/Android design guidelines.
• Frequent user of AI products with a clear understanding of AI capabilities and interaction paradigms.
• Self-motivated, hands-on, and learning-oriented.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for AI product design, curiosity, and a global perspective.

Responsibilities

• Design TikTok’s AI products and tools from concept to launch.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to build a trustworthy, user-centric AI experience.
• Understand business goals and user needs; drive C-side design from logic mapping to final implementation.
• Stay current with AI interaction trends and help define design standards for AI products.
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) in daily workflows to boost efficiency and quality.
