WEX, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Product Manager Builder to join a forward-deployed Builder Pod. You will partner with a Tech Builder to turn manual, judgment-heavy workflows into governed, agent-assisted experiences across mobility, payments and benefits.

You will own the problem, outcomes, and evaluation strategy while your engineer partner handles production architecture. This hands-on role emphasizes live prototyping, versioned artifacts, and measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management shipping software, data, or AI products to production at scale.
• Direct experience with generative AI, LLMs, retrieval/grounding (RAG), tool calling, context management.

Responsibilities

• Own problem, user outcomes, business value, agent behavior, and evaluation strategy.
• Prototype and test agent behavior, prompts, tool flows, and end-to-end workflows with a partner engineer.
• Define evaluation criteria and traceability from problem to production metrics.
