Tyler Technologies, Inc. seeks an AI Product Analyst Co-Op (Roux Institute) in Yarmouth, ME. You will assist AI-enabled ERP capabilities for public-sector clients, collaborating with product teams, AI engineers, UX designers, and QA to translate client needs into actionable requirements and documentation.

You will learn to evaluate AI use cases end-to-end, from discovery to release, while contributing to research, analysis, and validation tasks under guidance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree in CS, data science, analytics, MIS, HCI, business, or related field.
• Coursework or experience in product management, software development, business analysis, user research, data analysis, AI, or ML.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn qualitative or quantitative information into clear findings.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical topics to nontechnical audiences.
• Good organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage defined assignments with regular guidance.
• Curiosity about how local governments, schools, and other public-sector organizations use enterprise software.
• Experience with spreadsheets, data visualization, SQL, or Python is preferred.
• Familiarity with large language models, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, Agile development, Jira, or Confluence is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Research user problems, workflows, market developments, and identify where AI could assist with tasks.
• Prepare for client panels, interviews, usability sessions, and organize findings into needs and adoption barriers.
• Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting requirements under guidance.
• Maintain organized project information in Jira and Confluence and connect findings to backlog items.
• Help create test prompts, evaluation datasets, and failure scenarios for Enterprise ERP use cases.
• Document observations and recommend follow-up investigations or product improvements.
