Job summary

Ethos is a remote-first expert network connecting privacy professionals with investors and consultancies for paid expert calls and advisory opportunities. The role focuses on managing privacy tasks for AI model training, including DPIAs, records of processing activities, and data-protection agreements.

We seek experienced privacy managers with strong documentation skills and meticulous attention to detail, able to work 5–20 hours weekly, fully remote, ASAP start. Compensation is $90/hour.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data privacy or regulatory compliance, with direct ownership of DPIAs, records of processing activities, and GDPR/CCPA gap assessments.
• Experience drafting privacy notices and vendor data-processing agreements that hold up to regulator and customer scrutiny.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents across core workflows: DPIAs, records of processing activities, GDPR/CCPA gap assessments, privacy notices, vendor DPA, and breach protocols.
• Lead ownership of DPIAs, records of processing activities, and GDPR/CCPA gap assessments.
• Draft privacy notices and vendor DPAs that withstand regulator and customer scrutiny.
