Job summary

PhoenixAI in Menlo Park is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect to guide prospects through technical evaluations of the Agentic Database. You’ll deliver compelling presentations or demos, architect tailored AI-native solutions, and help secure technical wins.

This customer-facing role requires deep technical expertise, strong communication, and a passion for solving complex data challenges, with collaboration across sales, product, and engineering to shape the roadmap.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role.
• Hands-on with OLAP workloads, query optimization, and data modeling (star/snowflake).
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Familiar with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong communication skills to present to engineers and executives.
• Sales-oriented with a track record of technical wins.

Responsibilities

• Technical advocacy through presentations, demos, and PoCs.
• Design PhoenixAI-based solutions to meet data scale and latency needs.
• Lead PoC design, implementation and optimization.
• Document evaluations with use cases, challenges, plans, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with sales and product/engineering to align tech talks with business goals.
• Support marketing with webinars, booths, and thought leadership.
