Job summary

Copyleaks, a leading AI detection platform, is seeking a PR and Content Manager in New York City. You will craft stories from product data and customer use cases, and pitch them to reporters across mainstream and trade outlets, translating complex AI topics into accessible narratives.

You'll own content creation across blog posts, ebooks, reports, and infographics, and manage media outreach, social distribution, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in B2B PR and content, ideally at an emerging tech, SaaS, or AdTech company.
• Proven track record securing coverage with mainstream press and trade publications across multiple industries.
• Experience creating and repurposing long-form and visual content (blogs, ebooks, reports, infographics) for press pitching and social distribution.
• Startup or scale-up experience, comfortable moving fast, wearing multiple hats, and building processes where none exists yet.
• Education and/or enterprise industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and pitch stories that connect our product, data, and customer use cases to the trends journalists and editors are already covering, across mainstream press and trade/vertical outlets spanning media, education, insurance, fintech, and AdTech/SaaS.
• Build and maintain relationships with reporters, editors, and industry analysts
• Own day-to-day media outreach and serve as a primary point of contact for press inquiries.
• Aggregate product data, customer insights, and market trends into attention-demanding narratives, including original research, reports, and data stories that give press and prospects a reason to pay attention.
• Write and produce content that brings our product and use cases to life: blog posts, ebooks, reports, and infographics.
• Package that content for distribution by pitching it to press and publishing it across social, so each piece earns coverage and drives engagement, not just a publish date.
• Partner with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership to spot newsworthy moments (launches, data findings, customer wins, industry shifts) and turn them into PR opportunities.
• Track coverage, share of voice, and content performance, and use those insights to sharpen future pitches and content.
• Represent our voice and positioning consistently across press, content, and social, translating our approach into stories that land with each audience.
