HappyRobot in San Francisco is seeking a PR & communications professional to shape how the world perceives us as we expand beyond logistics into enterprise AI. You’ll own press, executive visibility, and media strategy with founders and analytics-driven storytelling.

You’ll build relationships with journalists, editors, and analysts, translate complex AI work into compelling narratives, and manage announcements across channels while partnering with Content and Growth to align PR with broader

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in PR, communications, or journalism, ideally with in-house experience at a B2B tech or AI company.
• Proven track record of securing meaningful media coverage and relationships with relevant journalists/outlets.
• Excellent writing skills — precise and compelling across press releases, pitches, talking points, and social content.
• Strong news judgment and ability to shape a story from technical or dense material.
• Comfort working independently and moving fast in a lean, fast-paced environment; genuine interest in AI and how it's deployed.

Responsibilities

• Shape perceptions of HappyRobot with strategies, stories, and announcements that advance how the world thinks about us.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and analysts across tech, business, and enterprise media.
• Package company news, product launches, and customer wins into pitches that secure media coverage.
• Translate technical work into compelling narratives for audiences (enterprise operations leaders).
• Manage company news across owned channels (blog, press, email) with a consistent brand voice.
• Prioritize speaking, podcasts, and awards opportunities; manage external PR agencies or freelancers; align PR with marketing campaigns.
