Amplitude is seeking a Content Lead to shape how we tell our story as we build the leading AI analytics platform. This player‑coach role combines strategy with hands‑on writing, editing, and editorial direction across channels.

You’ll partner with Product Marketing, Brand, Demand Generation, Sales, Product, and company leaders to turn complex ideas about analytics, AI, and the future of digital products into content that people actually want to read, watch, and share.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in content, editorial, content marketing, or a related field in B2B technology or SaaS.
• Experience leading, managing, or mentoring content professionals, with a track record of developing talent and raising quality.
• A portfolio demonstrating exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling across multiple content formats and audiences.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop content strategies and bring complex ideas to market.
• A track record of owning content from strategy through execution and measurement, linking storytelling to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Set the content strategy and editorial direction across key channels and audiences, defining stories, themes, formats, and points of view.
• Lead and develop the content team as a player-coach with clear direction and mentorship while staying hands-on.
• Create and elevate content yourself, including thought leadership, executive content, customer stories, and campaign content.
• Partner across the business with Product Marketing, Brand, Demand Gen, Sales, Product, and executives to turn insights into compelling stories.
• Build a modern, scalable content engine using AI and emerging tools while maintaining originality, accuracy, and brand voice.
