M-Files Corporation in Boston is seeking a Sales Engineer to be the technical authority in the sales cycle, designing AI and automation solutions on the M-Files platform and proving their value through tailored demos and proofs of concept.

You will partner with Account Executives, build integrations using APIs, advise on responsible AI, document requirements with Services, and help advance deals while tracking pipeline and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/MIS/Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience valued.
• 3+ years in a pre-sales, solution consulting or technical consulting role in enterprise SaaS.
• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or C# and REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and SQL.
• Understanding of modern AI: LLMs, RAG, AI agents, data privacy and governance.
• Experience with automation platforms and iPaaS, and building AI-powered prototypes.
• Must be metric-driven with ability to track POC win rate and demo-to-opportunity conversion.

Responsabilités

• Pre-sales and discovery: partner with Account Executives to run structured discovery and map pain points.
• Deliver value-driven demos tailored to prospect's industry and processes.
• Plan, run and close out proofs of concept with clear success criteria.
• AI and automation solutioning: design AI-powered solutions and build integrations using M-Files APIs and connectors.
• Advise customers on responsible AI adoption: data quality, security, governance.
• Technical consultation: document requirements and design hand-offs.
• Relationships and sales support: build trusted-advisor relationships and help advance deals.
• Operate with data: track pipeline influence and demo effectiveness.
