Job summary
Replit seeks a Sales Engineer to join our growing sales team, combining deep technical expertise with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences. You’ll support pre- and post-sales efforts, travel to run on-site hackathons, and demonstrate Replit’s AI-powered development tools to Product Managers, Designers, and Operations teams.

Qualifications
- 3+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or technical sales role in SaaS or no-code/low-code tools
- Strong coding skills at entry-level/junior software engineer level
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences (PMs, Designers, Operations)
- Understanding of prototyping, internal tooling, and workflow automation use cases
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills with business stakeholders
- Ability to learn and teach AI-powered development tools
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise throughout pre-sales and post-sales lifecycle with Account Executives/Managers
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate hackathons at prospective customer sites (50-200 attendees)
- Travel up to 25% for on-site customer hackathons and events
- Deliver product demos tailored to non-technical audiences
- Lead technical discovery sessions around prototyping and internal tool development
- Create educational content and workshops for hackathon participants and customer teams
