Job summary

IDC is seeking a Partner Operations & AI Automation Co-op/Intern in New York, NY. You will design agentic workflows, automate partner qualification and development, and build AI-enabled tools under executive supervision.

This is a hands-on role with direct exposure to senior leadership and a strong emphasis on real-world impact. You’ll gain mentorship and shape how AI-driven automation operates inside IDC, with a hybrid NYC work setup and potential travel to the Boston HQ.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related technical field.
• No prior full-time work experience required; coursework or project experience with AI tools is welcome.
• Demonstrated, hands-on AI proficiency: built agentic workflows or automations (LLMs with tool use, prompt design, API integrations, or no-code/low-code platforms).
• Ability to demo and explain an AI automation you’ve built (a 10-minute live demo during interview).
• Comfort with Python, SQL, or similar scripting; strong aptitude to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows using Claude and other AI tools to automate partner ops and pipeline management.
• Build automated partner intelligence workflows monitoring partner signals, competitive moves, and market data.
• Support automation of partnership qualification with a rules-based triage/scoring layer for inbound opportunities.
• Support automation of partnership development workflows with repeatable document assembly and follow-ups.
• Build and test AI-enabled tools, prototypes, dashboards to save time on research and reporting.
