Job summary

AirOps seeks an engine builder to own, optimize, and scale its high-volume outbound infrastructure powering 500K+ monthly emails across client accounts. You will manage technical plumbing, deliverability, and performance, transitioning the custom stack into an automated engine while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

You will drive AI-driven copy generation, experimentation, and cross-portfolio standards to ensure scalable, reliable campaigns and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have managed high-volume cold email environments at scale (100K+ emails/month)
• Experience with data enrichment and personalization workflows
• Comfort operating outbound infrastructure within enterprise brand guidelines
• Ability to translate pain points into product requirements

Responsibilities

• Own system-wide outbound performance and deliverability across all clients.
• Design, maintain, and scale the backend domain, inbox, and sending architecture for 500K+ monthly emails.
• Build systematic testing for subject lines, messaging, targeting, and sending schedules.
• Own prompt systems and LLM workflows for outbound copy and personalization.
• Bridge between campaign operations and product development as the technical expert.
• Codify outbound playbooks and benchmarks for consistent execution across accounts.
