Job summary

Prime Health Services is seeking an Application Developer to design, develop, test, and support cloud-based and web-based applications in a Microsoft environment. You will independently deliver moderately complex features while ensuring quality, security, and business alignment.

The role uses AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, with emphasis on responsible use, testing, and documentation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of web app development, OOP, software design, data modeling, API concepts, and UI development.
• Proficiency with .NET, C#, SQL, source control, automated testing, and troubleshooting.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience with a full-stack development certification.
• Ability to independently deliver moderately complex features within established architecture and standards.
• Knowledge of secure use of approved AI-assisted development tools.
• Analytical, written communication, collaboration, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement application features and services based on documented requirements and designs.
• Develop and maintain solutions using .NET, C#, SQL Server, React, TypeScript, REST APIs, Azure services.
• Test solutions for functionality, performance, security, reliability, and acceptance criteria; fix defects.
• Optimize existing code, support modernization, and implement maintainable enhancements.
• Create and maintain unit, integration, API, and browser-based automated tests.
• Participate in requirements discussions, sprints, design reviews, PR reviews, and production support.
• Maintain technical documentation, work items, source-control practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage bug reports and user issues via ticketing/work-management systems.
• Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, assumptions, and blockers to team and partners.
• Provide guidance to less-experienced developers as appropriate.
