Job summary

Talnt is seeking a Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and implement software integrations connecting enterprise manufacturing systems to cloud-based applications. This role blends software engineering, data pipelines, and technical consulting to deploy AI-powered manufacturing solutions at scale.

The ideal candidate will write production-ready code, design software integrations, and solve complex technical challenges while partnering with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience developing REST APIs and software integrations.
• Familiarity with Bash, PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
• Experience with cloud platforms and enterprise software integrations.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets.
• Excellent customer communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Willingness to travel 25%–40% and work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software integrations connecting enterprise manufacturing systems to cloud-based applications.
• Develop APIs, data pipelines, and automation workflows using Python, SQL, REST APIs.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for customer implementations through deployment and support.
• Collaborate with manufacturing customers to understand processes and integration requirements.
• Integrate ERP, MES, QMS, historians, SCADA and other industrial software platforms.
• Build reusable integration tools and connectors to speed deployments.
• Work with Data Science to configure AI/ML solutions for manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and production data pipelines.
• Create technical documentation and implementation guides for scalable deployments.
• Travel to customer facilities to support deployments and optimization.
