Talnt is seeking a Solutions Engineer to deliver enterprise software for manufacturers. This customer-facing role blends coding, system integration, and implementation consulting to deploy AI-powered manufacturing solutions at scale.

The ideal candidate can write production-quality code, design data integrations, and work closely with customers. Travel to sites and collaboration with engineering teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer or similar.
• Strong programming experience using Python and SQL.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and building software integrations.
• Familiarity with Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, distributed systems, middleware, and enterprise software integrations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Excellent customer communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% to 40% to customer sites.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software integrations connecting enterprise manufacturing systems to cloud-based applications.
• Develop APIs, integration services, data pipelines, and automation workflows using Python, SQL, REST APIs, and modern software development practices.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for customer implementations from solution design through deployment and ongoing technical support.
• Partner directly with manufacturing customers to understand production processes, data architecture, and integration requirements.
• Integrate ERP, MES, QMS, historians, SCADA, and other industrial software platforms.
• Build reusable integration tools and connector libraries to speed deployments.
• Collaborate with Data Science teams to configure AI and machine learning solutions for manufacturing challenges.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving distributed systems, networking, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines.
• Analyze large datasets to identify data quality issues and diagnose integration failures.
• Develop technical documentation, implementation guides, and best practices for scalable deployments.
• Travel to customer facilities to support deployments and optimization.
