Job summary

Talnt is seeking a solutions engineer who can design, develop, and implement software integrations that connect enterprise manufacturing systems to cloud-based applications. You will serve as the primary technical resource during deployments, collaborating with customers to understand processes, data architecture, and integration requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of customer-facing technical experience in roles such as Solutions Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or similar.
• Strong Python and SQL programming experience.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and building software integrations.
• Familiarity with Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 25%–40%.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software integrations connecting enterprise manufacturing systems to cloud-based applications.
• Develop APIs, integration services, data pipelines, and automation workflows using Python, SQL, REST APIs.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for customer implementations from solution design through deployment and ongoing technical support.
• Partner directly with manufacturing customers to understand production processes, data architecture, operational challenges, and integration requirements.
• Integrate enterprise manufacturing systems including ERP, MES, QMS, historians, SCADA, and other industrial software platforms.
• Build reusable integration tools and connector libraries that improve deployment speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with Data Science teams to configure AI and machine learning solutions that solve manufacturing challenges.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving distributed systems, networking, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and production data pipelines.
• Analyze large manufacturing datasets to identify data quality issues, diagnose integration failures, and implement technical solutions.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence future product capabilities.
• Develop technical documentation, implementation guides, and best practices that support scalable customer deployments.
• Participate in customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, and solution architecture discussions.
• Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional customer communication and project execution.
• Travel to customer manufacturing facilities as needed to support deployments, technical troubleshooting, and solution optimization.
