Job summary

Quarles & Brady seeks an experienced Research Analyst to join the Research & Knowledge Management team. You will support attorneys and business professionals with comprehensive legal and business research, using AI-enabled tools and verified sources to produce clear summaries.

The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and effective communication. This remote position is based in CA, AZ, or CO with Pacific Time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or JD/MLS required.
• 4+ years of law firm research services experience.
• Proficiency with major legal research platforms.
• Experience using AI-enabled research tools and validating results.

Responsibilities

• Independently conducts legal and business research of varying complexity, analyzes and synthesizes results, and provides clear, concise summaries of findings.
• Uses AI-enabled research tools and prompts development to improve efficiency; validates outputs against authoritative sources.
• Receives and clarifies research requests, identifies approaches, and communicates scope and timing.
• Advises on resource selection and effectiveness; provides resource training and guidance.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to firm policies.
