Job summary

WS Development seeks an AI and Legal Operations Manager to modernize the legal team’s operations by leading cross-functional projects, managing intake and metrics, and driving AI-enabled tooling adoption. You will administer matter management, build Power BI dashboards, and design automations to accelerate high-value work while evaluating readiness for a CLM system.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization with strong data literacy.
• Proficiency with process automation and low-code tools such as Power Automate; familiarity with PowerShell a plus.
• Working knowledge of legal operations concepts (contract lifecycle, matter management, legal spend) and SharePoint for tracking.
• Change-management skills to drive adoption of new tools and processes.
• Sound judgment on AI-assisted output and escalation when needed.
• Strong project management skills to run multiple projects on schedule.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across functions.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, selection, implementation, and administration of legal tech and AI-enabled tools and drive adoption.
• Turn playbooks into vetted prompts and AI skills; coordinate with IT and legal AI group.
• Design and maintain automations using low-code tools (Power Automate) to reduce low-value work.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and executive reporting on performance and matters.
• Assess readiness for a CLM system and plan next steps with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with supervising attorney and GC to translate priorities into plans, tooling, and reporting.
• Track matters, deals, and tasks across SharePoint, Salesforce, and related systems with accurate status.
• Coordinate projects and circulate meeting notes and actions; communicate status to partners.
• Develop knowledge base, clause libraries, SOPs, and training materials for the team.
• Identify bottlenecks in leasing and contract deals and propose improvements.
