Story Cannabis Co. is seeking an Accounting & Finance AI Automation Manager to design and implement AI-driven systems that transform accounting, finance, and related functions into a scalable real-time operating platform.

You will collaborate with Finance leadership to define priorities and deliver measurable ROI through automation and improved data integrity. Based in the United States, this role offers the opportunity to architect Story’s AI-enabled operating model across multiple platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in relevant field.
• 3+ years in accounting, finance, or financial systems.
• Experience with AI tools and LLMs to automate accounting/finance.
• Experience with ERP systems and data integration.
• Strong data quality and system integration knowledge.
• Experience with automated reconciliations and close processes preferred.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong Excel and data visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy AI-enabled workflows across Accounting, Finance, and operations to reduce manual effort.
• Automate reconciliations, journals, accruals, and close processes for monthly/quarterly closes.
• Integrate AI across ERP, POS, inventory, FP&A tools, and data warehouses for real-time visibility.
• Design intelligent workflows transforming finance into a real-time operating platform.
• Own and maintain AI/automation workflows ensuring reliability and audit readiness.
• Improve automation across AP accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, lease accounting, intercompany, etc.
• Monitor AI workflow performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Establish standardized automation frameworks across business units.
• Lead AI initiatives from concept to deployment and rollout.
• Define roadmaps, milestones, and ROI targets tied to efficiency gains.
