Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a designer/system engineer to build and evolve an AI-powered design system for Mint Mobile & Ultra Mobile. You will accelerate component generation, maintain design tokens, and create scalable UI patterns across platforms.

Collaborate with designers and engineers to implement production-ready components, provide documentation, and drive adoption of AI-enabled workflows while ensuring usability, accessibility, and brand consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or certification in CS/Web/SE with 5+ years related experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years related experience.
• 4-7 years of experience in Interaction Design or Front-End development, creating ecommerce/native apps solutions.
• High proficiency with AI tools Claude and Codex; strong front-end coding and accessibility knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Use AI tools to accelerate component generation, documentation and workflows, create interactive prototypes, and deliver functional components to engineering.
• Lead the development of design tokens, reusable components, UI patterns, and architecture to ensure cross‑platform consistency and governance.
• Partner with designers, engineers, and product teams to understand requirements and streamline communication between design and engineering.
• Research and build front-end implementations of complex UI patterns; collaborate to transform prototypes into production-ready solutions.
