Job summary

Plum, an AI-enabled data & automation team, seeks an Engineer to build scalable data pipelines, automate data collection, and enrich leads using AI-powered tooling. You’ll ingest data from multiple SaaS platforms, implement cleansing and matching, and optimize workflows with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.

You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact data solutions and continuously adopt AI tools to accelerate development and data quality.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Marketing/Sales Ops, or related field.
• Strong Python programming for data processing, automation, and API integrations.
• Experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Experience integrating data from multiple SaaS platforms via APIs.
• Lead enrichment, data quality, deduplication, entity resolution, and matching.
• Experience with structured, semi-structured, and JSON data.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software practices.
• Undergraduate degree in CS/Engineering/Physics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting and enriching large datasets.
• Develop Python-based automation for data collection, transformation, validation, and workflow orchestration.
• Build and optimize data workflows using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake.
• Integrate and process data from multiple SaaS platforms via APIs and integrations.
• Develop scalable workflows for lead generation, enrichment, and sales intelligence.
• Implement data cleansing, deduplication, entity resolution, normalization, and matching.
• Process structured, semi-structured, and JSON data from internal/external sources.
• Collaborate with product/engineering/go-to-market to translate requirements into solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve efficiency.
• Continuously evaluate new AI tools to speed development and improve data quality.
