Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to join the Next-Gen Workflow team within the PART Data Operations group in Culver City. You will design and build data applications and AI-powered experiences that streamline finance analysis and reporting, working end-to-end with minimal oversight.

The role requires shipping production data apps, collaborating with Finance analysts and leadership, and mentoring peers while elevating software quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering or software development with production data apps
• BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

• Own complex projects end-to-end from discovery to deployment
• Partner with analytics and Finance leadership to understand workflows and automate processes
• Design, develop, and deploy data applications (Streamlit) to visualize data and automate tasks
• Lead AI adoption, including LLM-powered features and intelligent automation
• Coach analysts on AI use in workflows and prototype solutions together
• Write clean Python, establish reusable patterns, and document data flows
