Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to join the Next-Gen Workflow team within the PART Data Operations group in Culver City, CA.

You will design, build, and deploy light-weight data apps (primarily Streamlit) to streamline financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making, working end-to-end from discovery to deployment. Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering or software development, shipping production data apps end-to-end.
• Expert proficiency in Python and building web apps with Streamlit.
• Strong experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and modern data lake environments.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: Git, code review, testing, CI/CD, observability.
• BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own complex projects end-to-end from discovery to deployment and maintenance.
• Partner with analysts and Finance leadership to understand workflows and identify automation/AI opportunities.
• Design, develop, and deploy data applications (Streamlit) to automate tasks and visualize data.
• Lead AI adoption in engineering practices and in shipped products (LLM-powered features).
• Coach analysts on applying AI to workflows and prototype solutions together.
• Write clean Python and establish reusable patterns for the team.
• Connect applications to data sources across Apple’s data ecosystem.
