Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity AI Architect to design secure, scalable AI security solutions across IT and OT. You will translate emerging AI technologies into enterprise capabilities, define long-term roadmaps, and partner with engineering, audit, and leadership.

The role leads threat modeling, evaluates new AI/ML tools, mentors engineers, and helps maintain a strong security posture across business units while aligning with regulatory standards. This hybrid role may require travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in technology design or architecture with 5+ years in AI/automation technologies.
• Experience with AI/ML in security contexts, including agentic AI and autonomous tooling.
• Experience in regulated industries such as utilities, finance, or healthcare.
• Mentoring teams and influencing technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the AI security architecture roadmap to support enterprise risk and business objectives.
• Design AI-augmented capabilities for detection, autonomous response, SOC workflows, and vulnerability management.
• Establish architecture standards, patterns, and guardrails for AI tool integration across cybersecurity domains.
• Evaluate and pilot emerging AI/ML, agentic AI, and autonomous security technologies.
• Translate adversarial AI and threat intelligence into architectural decisions.
• Serve as AI security subject matter expert for both offensive and defensive applications.
• Act as a technical advisor to senior and executive leadership regarding cybersecurity and AI security capabilities.
• Mentor security engineers and guide cross-functional teams through complex AI initiatives.
