Job summary

Entergy seeks an AI Software Engineer Sr Staff to join our AI team in a hybrid role based in New Orleans, LA. You will design, build, and maintain scalable software powering AI-enabled applications across internal tools and customer platforms.

Lead engineering initiatives across the full development lifecycle, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure solutions aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience and strong cloud exposure.
• Experience designing and delivering AI-enabled software solutions.
• Ability to mentor and lead junior engineers across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions on system design specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
• Refine and optimize data and machine learning algorithms for production.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of codebase.
• Document software development and monitor systems to meet user needs and business goals.
• Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in software engineering.
