Job summary

Vistra Retail Operations Company in Irving, TX is seeking a BI, Analytics & AI Specialist to partner with cross-functional leaders and transform energy market and customer data into strategic, automated insights.

You will design AI-powered dashboards, conduct deep-dive analytics across lifecycle value, pricing optimization, churn modeling, and enable real-time decision making with generative BI tools. Mentoring junior analysts is also included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience or Master's with 3+ years, or equivalent 8+ years.

Responsibilities

• Lead BI and AI initiatives to identify growth opportunities and optimize portfolio performance.
• Develop executive dashboards and operational reports using Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and GenBI tools.
• Translate energy usage, pricing, and customer data into actionable recommendations for multiple teams.
• Conduct descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analyses and automate alerts and actions.
• Stay updated with AI/ML and generative BI technologies and best practices.
