Job summary

Amentum’s AI Center of Excellence seeks an AI Solutions Architect — Programs & Delivery to own JANUS operations, translate business problems into scalable AI architectures, and coordinate lighthouse deployments across enterprise platforms. You will collaborate with governance, legal, and IT teams, ensuring timely delivery and documentation for leadership review.

Candidates should have 5+ years in AI/data program architecture, strong cloud experience (Azure preferred), and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of AI/data program architecture or enterprise solution delivery.
• Experience operating enterprise intake/portfolio systems for AI or data initiatives.
• Knowledge of AI/ML solution architecture, data pipelines and platform components.
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Experience with structured and semi-structured data and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operation of JANUS for COE intake, triage and lifecycle tracking.
• Translate business problems into technical AI solution architectures and reusable patterns.
• Support GenAI integration, deployment, and operational hand-off.
• Coordinate lighthouse charter execution and surface blockers to CTO/AI Council.
• Maintain COE decision log and Council package readiness monthly.
