Duolingo seeks an engineering manager to lead the AI Tooling and Ecosystem Team, guiding datasets, model evaluations, and AI workflows. You’ll shape how AI features are built, enabling teams to define metrics, integrate human and AI feedback, and compare model performance.

You will supervise 5–6 engineers, collaborate with AI Core Infrastructure, and partner with product, data science, and platform leaders to accelerate AI feature delivery and measurable product impact.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading, managing, and building a team of software/AI engineers.
• Track record of building AI-related infrastructure or AI-powered products.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation methods including human+LLM-as-a-judge evaluations.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication; align AI, product, data science, and platform partners.
