Job summary

EY seeks an AI Systems Engineer to build and operate the foundational substrate powering EY’s AI-native platform. You will own the infrastructure across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped targets, delivering a portable, production‑grade stack for Agentic AI workloads.

You will work with Kubernetes at scale, GPU/DPU infrastructure, and multi‑tenancy fabric, while aligning with security and compliance. Collaboration with security, architecture, and delivery teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure and large-scale Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes distributions (RKE2, EKS/AKS/GKE, K3s).
• Experience across cloud, on-prem, and air-gapped deployment models.
• Strong grounding in cluster networking, storage, and multi-tenancy isolation.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure and scheduling (NVAIE/DCGM).
• Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, ArgoCD, Crossplane.
• Proven track record in compliance, security, or regulatory contexts.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud-native platform for Agentic AI workflows.
• Manage infrastructure foundation: Ubuntu/OS, bare-metal, DPU, and GPU integration.
• Stand up EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped modes.
• Deliver platform capabilities like Infrastructure Management, Kubernetes & Scheduling.
• Own cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, and multi-tenancy boundaries.
• Oversee secure execution: Ray Serve, vLLM/Triton, for model inference.
• Collaborate on CI/CD/CV and GitOps for reproducible environments.
• Ensure backup, DR, and cross-environment replication.
• Keep substrate modular and vendor-neutral where possible.
