Job summary

EY seeks AI Systems Engineers to build and operate EY’s AI-native platform substrate across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets. You’ll own the infrastructure foundation, including Ubuntu/OS, GPU/DPU, and bare-metal provisioning, ensuring production-readiness and portability, with a strong focus on reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes distributions and full cluster lifecycle management.
• Experience with bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and ideally air-gapped deployment models.
• Strong grounding in cluster networking, storage, and multi-tenancy isolation.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure and scheduling (NVAIE/DCGM).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, ArgoCD, Crossplane).
• Proven track record operating production infrastructure under compliance, security, or regulatory constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud-native platform: compute, Kubernetes, and multi-tenancy for Agentic AI workflows.
• Stand up and manage EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets.
• Deliver foundational platform capabilities to support downstream runtime and services.
• Ensure safe, portable substrate with modular components and clean ownership boundaries.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD/CV and GitOps to keep environments reproducible.
