Job summary

EY seeks an experienced AI Systems Engineer to build and operate EY’s foundational substrate for the AI-native platform. The role spans bare-metal to Kubernetes at scale, emphasizing reliability and portability across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets.

You'll own multi-tenant, secure execution and inference, and collaborate on CI/CD, GitOps, and platform hygiene. EY offers a hybrid model and a broad benefits package to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on Kubernetes across diverse distributions (RKE2, EKS/AKS/GKE, K3s).
• Experience with bare-metal, cloud, and air-gapped deployment models.
• Strong networking, storage, and multi-tenancy expertise.
• Proven track record in compliance, security, or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud-native platform: compute, Kubernetes, multi-tenancy.
• Manage infrastructure foundation: Ubuntu/OS, bare-metal, GPU, and NVAIE.
• Stand up EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on‑prem, edge, air-gapped.
• Deliver platform capabilities to enable downstream runtimes safely.
• Own backup, disaster recovery, and cross-environment replication.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and GitOps to keep environments reproducible.
