Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP is seeking an AI Platform Senior Lead to steer planning, development and governance of vended AI platforms across the firm. You will own the product strategy, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with IT, legal stakeholders, and knowledge management to deliver measurable business outcomes.

The role requires experience in product management, agile methodologies, and familiarity with AI platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of product management or product ownership experience.
• Proficiency with agile methodologies and product management tools.
• Familiarity with vendor evaluations.
• Experience developing and delivering training or enablement material.
• Preferred: experience owning and administering generative AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as business owner for vended AI platforms and tools, overseeing implementation and maintenance.
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions within AI tools per governance standards.
• Coordinate rollout, integration, and ongoing support with IT, vendors, and deployments.
• Define and drive product strategy and roadmap for AI-powered solutions.
• Stay informed on AI trends and feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI tools across the firm's portfolio.
• Collaborate across departments to execute AI initiatives.
• Prioritize features based on customer needs, research, and feasibility.
• Engage stakeholders to gather insights on AI solutions.
• Ensure AI products address real problems and deliver measurable value.
• Implement responsible AI development practices for ethical use.
