Job summary

UPS is seeking a senior product leader to define the strategy, roadmap, and platform vision for AI governance, GenAI, and intelligent-agent governance at scale.

You will own the multi-year governance roadmap, manage executive relationships to align governance with enterprise priorities, drive KPI-driven investments for platforms and tooling, and mentor senior product managers across Legal, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Enterprise Architecture, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in AI/data governance, risk, product management for platforms and tooling, or technology strategy
• Experience leading enterprise governance programs, platform initiatives, or automation efforts
• Demonstrated experience setting strategy and roadmaps and influencing senior business and technical stakeholders
• Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and the AI lifecycle
• Direct experience building or scaling governance platforms and automation (IBM watsonx.governance or equivalent) preferred
• Working knowledge of AI Governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and the EU AI Act) preferred
• Expertise in Agile and product/platform lifecycle management preferred
• Professional certifications such as IAPP AIGP, CIPP, or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience mentoring or leading teams in a governance or regulated environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expertise in AI Governance, including strategy development, roadmap execution, and automation of governance processes
• Proficient in managing cross-functional teams and aligning governance initiatives with enterprise priorities while ensuring compliance with emerging regulations
• Mentor Senior Product Managers and cross-functional contributors
• Work across Legal, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Enterprise Architecture, business, and IT teams
