Job summary

Adastra Corp is seeking an Engineering Lead to guide a cross-functional team of frontend, backend, and DevOps professionals. You will translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions and oversee the design, development, and deployment of customer-facing AI-enabled applications.

You will establish engineering standards, drive quality, mentor engineers, and ensure security, governance, and compliance across all efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering front-end applications within cross-functional teams.
• Strong background in full-stack development and cloud-native apps.
• Proven ability to translate product requirements to technical solutions.
• Leadership of engineers across frontend, backend and DevOps.
• Solid understanding of software quality practices and testing.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team.
• Partner with Product Owner to translate vision into solutions.
• Oversee design and deployment of customer-facing front-end with AI features.
• Establish engineering standards and quality benchmarks.
• Ensure code quality, testing and documentation practices.
• Manage sprint execution, planning and resources.
• Foster collaboration across disciplines and mentor engineers.
• Remove blockers and manage dependencies for delivery.
• Monitor system performance and scalability, drive improvements.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance in solutions.
• Collaborate with architecture/infrastructure teams for shared services.
• Drive continuous process improvements and manage technical debt.
