Job summary

EY is seeking AI Systems Engineers to build and operate EY’s AI native platform, including the Hybrid AI Multi‑Environment Runtime. This role spans bare‑metal to Kubernetes at scale, with a focus on reliability and portability across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped targets.

You will own the foundational substrate, enable secure execution, and drive platform‑level capabilities to accelerate downstream AI workflows while collaborating across security, architecture, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
• 8+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure.
• Hands‑on Kubernetes and cluster lifecycle management.
• Experience across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped deployments.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure and scheduling.
• Proven compliance, security, or regulatory experience.
• Ability to collaborate with security, architecture, product, and delivery teams.
• Strong communication to engineers, architects, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud‑native platform: compute, Kubernetes and scheduling, cluster fabric/networking, multi‑tenancy, and distributed compute.
• Own the infrastructure foundation: Ubuntu/OS, BMC/bare‑metal, DPU architecture, and NVAIE (GPU/Network/DCGM).
• Stand up and manage EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on‑prem AI Factory, edge, and air‑gapped deployment modes.
• Deliver foundational platform capabilities such as Infrastructure Management, Kubernetes & Scheduling, and Cluster Fabric Management.
• Own cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, GPU pooling/virtualization, and multi‑tenancy boundaries.
• Own secure execution and inference: Ray Serve, vLLM/NIM/Triton, and NVIDIA Dynamo with sandboxing.
