Job summary

EY is seeking AI Systems Engineers to build and operate the foundational substrate powering EY’s AI-native platform. You’ll own the cloud-native platform, Kubernetes, multi-tenant isolation, and cross-environment deployment across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets.

You will lead the infrastructure foundation, from bare-metal to GPU, implement IaC and GitOps, and ensure reliability, portability, and compliance in regulated client contexts while enabling downstream teams to move fast.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure and Kubernetes at scale.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes distributions and full cluster lifecycle management.
• Experience with bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, and air-gapped deployments.
• Strong grounding in cluster networking, storage, and multi-tenancy isolation.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure and scheduling (NVAIE/DCGM).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tools (Terraform, OpenTofu, Helm, ArgoCD, Crossplane).
• Proven track record in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud-native platform across compute, Kubernetes, and multi-tenancy.
• Manage the infrastructure foundation: Ubuntu/OS, bare-metal, DPU, and GPU networks.
• Stand up EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets.
• Deliver platform capabilities for Infrastructure Management, Kubernetes, and Cluster Fabric.
• Own cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, GPU pooling, and tenancy boundaries.
• Own secure execution and inference with Ray Serve, vLLM, Triton in sandboxed environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and GitOps to ensure reproducibility.
• Ensure backup, DR, and cross-environment replication with Velero and related tools.
