Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a senior engineering leader for the AI Platform IQ team. You will mentor a high‑performing group of AI and software engineers, guide the platform roadmap, and collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Applied AI leaders to measure and improve AI quality across products.

You will drive development of evaluation infrastructure, metrics, experimentation, and developer tooling to empower AI product teams to build, evaluate, and ship reliable AI

Qualifications

• Experience leading and growing high‑performing software engineering teams.
• Strong technical background building AI infrastructure and AI-powered products.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS AI products focusing on quality, reliability, and scalability.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives from strategy to execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in fast‑moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a high‑performing team of AI and software engineers, developing them into strong technical leaders.
• Own the AI Platform roadmap execution and delivery.
• Partner with Product, Applied AI, Data Science, and Engineering leaders to define AI quality measurement and improvement.
• Develop AI evaluation infrastructure, metrics, experimentation, observability, and tooling.
• Drive decisions to improve scalability, reliability, and adoption of the AI Platform.
