Job summary

NEOGOV is seeking a senior AI Platform Lead to steer a small team building NEOGOV's AI platform, shared services, and tooling for public-sector SaaS products. You will own the GenAI, AI agents, RAG, and automation roadmap, collaborating with Product, Data, Infra, and Security to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

You will lead, design, and implement platform capabilities, patterns, and governance, while hands-on contributing to critical decisions and architectural direction across .NET, Python,

Qualifications

• 6–8 years engineering experience with 1–2 years in people leadership.
• Experience shipping shared/platform services used by other engineers.
• Hands-on with GenAI/LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and semantic search; familiar with agents and tool calling.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to build NEOGOV's AI platform and shared services.
• Own the roadmap and delivery of GenAI, AI agents, RAG, and automation into products.
• Partner with Product, Data, Infrastructure, and Security to ship securely at scale.
• Hands-on design reviews, prototyping, and unblocking the team.
• Define patterns, golden paths, and reusable frameworks across teams.
