Job summary

NetDocuments in Utah is seeking an experienced engineer to design, drive, and operate our internal AI infrastructure. You will manage the AI Gateway, MCP servers, agentic workflows, and the supporting cloud services that let NetDocuments teams safely deploy AI in day-to-day work.

You’ll partner with Security, Compliance, and Legal, own runbooks, respond to incidents, and build reporting capabilities. A strong foundation in cloud operations, IAM, and backend engineering will help you scale our AI

Qualifications

• 4–5 years running a cloud production service with on-call ownership.
• Experience with authentication and access management (OIDC, OAuth, SAML).
• Backend engineering in Python or Go, with infrastructure as code and containerized deployment.
• Hands-on experience with AI tooling or agentic systems (MCP servers or AI agents).
• Familiarity with observability practices like metrics, logging, and tracing.
• Strong documentation and cross-team communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, drive, and operate NetDocuments' internal AI infrastructure.
• Manage the AI Gateway, MCP servers, and agentic workflows.
• Coordinate with Security, Compliance, and Legal; maintain runbooks and cross-training.
• Own the reporting arm of the platform and document it comprehensively.
