Job summary

Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) seeks an AI Engineer II to independently develop and support AI engineering capabilities, enabling reusable, secure, and scalable AI-assisted software delivery.

You will build components of the AI Harness, agent frameworks, evaluation systems, and developer workflow tools, partnering with engineering teams to translate practical delivery needs into reliable AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field with 5+ years in software or AI engineering.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python and modern application development languages.
• Experience building APIs, services, integrations, automated tests, and cloud-based applications.
• Experience with LLM application patterns, prompt engineering, RAG, agent frameworks, LLMOps, evaluation techniques, or AI-assisted development tools.
• Demonstrated engineering judgment, collaboration, and the ability to deliver reliable technical solutions in a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI Harness & Platform Capabilities: design, build, test, and maintain platform components, services, connectors, and internal tools.
• Implement model routing, prompt execution patterns, API integrations, and reusable utilities; align with platform standards.
• Improve reliability, performance, observability, and usability of AI engineering tools; support production operations and incident response.
