Job summary

Fireworks AI is seeking a product-minded engineer to join as a Member of Technical Staff, owning surfaces that power our Nexus platform—an intelligent router, cost observability, FireConnect integrations, and API surfaces. You’ll ship end-to-end features for a deeply technical user base and contribute across frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers.

You will work with Infrastructure, Applied Research, Growth, Data, and Design to turn raw platform capability into products developers love,

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a software engineer shipping user-facing products.
• Strong full-stack skills across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
• Track record shipping developer-facing products (APIs, dashboards, consoles, CLIs).
• Owns projects end-to-end with strong ownership.
• Excellent product instincts focused on the developer experience.
• Able to move fast with pragmatic trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end across Nexus and Fireworks platform.
• Build routing and migration layer for real-time scoring.
• Extend FireConnect to integrate with APIs.
• Work across stack to ship production-ready surfaces.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Applied Research, Growth, Data, Design.
• Instrument and analyze usage data to remove friction.
