Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a seasoned Delivery Leader to drive end-to-end cloud and AI/ML platform initiatives, including SageMaker capabilities, across onshore and offshore teams. You will coach engineers, manage performance, and ensure accountable delivery of complex programs in a hybrid work model.

You will translate business priorities into delivery plans, oversee risks, dependencies, and budgets, and communicate progress to senior leadership with a focus on scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT delivery, engineering management, or program delivery.
• Experience leading engineering or technical teams.
• Proven end-to-end delivery ownership beyond coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a blended onshore/offshore engineering team with coaching and performance management.
• Own end-to-end delivery of cloud and AI/ML platform initiatives (AWS SageMaker).
• Translate priorities into actionable delivery plans with risks and resources.
• Establish delivery discipline with planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Provide data-driven updates to stakeholders on status, risks, and progress.
• Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to align priorities.
• Identify and mitigate risks, remove blockers, and drive process improvements.
• Monitor delivery performance and scalability of platform capabilities.
• Support staffing and budget considerations for delivery programs.
• Ensure adherence to security standards while delivering scalable solutions.
