Job summary

Zynga is seeking a Software Architect for the AI team in Central Technology. You will own technical vision, design, and implementation of AI‑powered tools that boost developer productivity and player experiences at scale.

Lead cross‑cutting architectural decisions, establish standards, and guide engineers across multiple game studios. Build scalable AI platforms, collaborate with product and studios, and mentor the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with AI/ML systems integration at platform level.
• Strong Python expertise across architectures and system types.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Strong algorithm, design pattern, debugging, and performance skills.
• Excellent communication with senior leadership; frontend JS knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable AI systems, full‑stack apps, and cloud infra in AWS with LLM services.
• Own cross‑cutting architecture decisions and AI tooling strategy.
• Uphold engineering standards: code quality, testing, CI/CD, and reliability.
• Evaluate new AI tech and platforms for long‑term impact.
• Document architecture plans across the AI tooling ecosystem.
• Collaborate with studios, product, and central tech to improve developer productivity.
• Establish processes and metrics for software quality and operations.
• Partner on realistic scoping; flag technical risk early.
• Coach and mentor engineers.
