Zynga, a leading interactive entertainment company, is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for its AI team. You will drive the technical vision, design, and implementation of AI-powered tools and systems that scale developer productivity and player experiences.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience with AI/ML systems or developer tooling.
• Strong full stack experience: React/TypeScript frontend and Python/Go/Node.js backend.

Responsibilities

• Build, improve & maintain Zynga's AI-powered developer tools and applications across the full stack (frontend, APIs, backend).
• Design and architect scalable AI systems and cloud integrations, including LLM-powered features and agentic workflows.
• Hands-on coding across frontend and backend layers of the AI tooling ecosystem.
• Identify and address systemic problems, tech debt, and opportunities to enhance AI capabilities.
• Follow engineering best practices for code quality, performance, reliability and responsible AI.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to implement and rollout AI tools.
• Review tech plans and align with the AI Tools Team and company vision.
• Provide production & integration support for shared AI tools used across Zynga studios.
