Job summary

Takeda seeks a Business Lead for AI-native Target Identification & Validation to own the strategic vision and product roadmap of an AI-enabled discovery platform. You will partner with disease biology, computational science, and external partners to deliver measurable scientific and business value.

The role requires a Ph.D. in genetics or related field and 8+ years in pharma/biotech R&D, with strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in human genetics, computational biology, systems biology, molecular or cell biology or related field with 8+ years in pharma/biotech R&D.
• Ownership of a product/platform end to end including roadmap, delivery and adoption.
• Ability to set strategic direction and translate scientific ambition into executable product strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic vision for AI-native TIDVAL capabilities and target journey.
• Define roadmap, prioritize features, and drive adoption across multiple teams.
• Partner with science, data, and technology leads to align on value realization.
• Communicate with senior leaders and external partners to balance scientific value and feasibility.
