Job summary

B-Stock is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, scale, and maintain the next generation of our marketplace platform. You will work with expert technical leads and engineers to deliver core experiences in an AI-native way, partnering with Product, Design, and other teams to drive key initiatives.

You will design and deploy scalable systems for e-commerce, content, and fulfillment, delivering elegant software quickly while leveraging AI to accelerate progress and maintain ownership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• An AI-native engineer with experience using agentic/AI-assisted tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and execution drive.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and a backend language (Node.js/Python/Ruby).
• Ability to deliver elegant, reliable software in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy scalable systems for e-commerce, content, and fulfillment.
• Deliver software quickly while leveraging AI to accelerate without sacrificing ownership.
• Provide thought leadership on processes, tooling, systems, and AI adoption.
• Improve and maintain existing systems, reducing friction in development.
• Mentor engineers through design, code review, and knowledge sharing.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends.
