Job summary

Libra Solutions is hiring a Quality Engineer, AI-Native, to own automated test coverage across API, UI, and integration layers in a fast, agentic engineering environment. You will design, implement, and optimize tests using Playwright and TypeScript, while validating data through SQL and REST endpoints.

You will partner with engineers, use AI tools responsibly, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and ensure quality gates on every build. Remote options are available with Las Vegas travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years of hands-on test automation experience writing code-based test suites
• Working knowledge of C# / .NET applications
• Experience writing automated API tests in code (TypeScript, C# / xUnit / NUnit)
• Familiarity with SQL Server or Azure SQL for data validation
• Experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with AI tools for test scaffolding and defect analysis
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated UI and end-to-end test suites using Playwright / TypeScript
• Write automated API tests against REST endpoints; validate contracts, schemas, and logic
• Build and maintain integration tests across service interactions and data validation
• Contribute to test data strategy for reliable parallel test execution
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate test generation and scaffolding
• Critically review AI-generated tests for coverage and quality
• Operate within an agentic engineering model with quality judgment on ships
• Contribute to Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines as quality gates
• Document and track bugs in Jira; collaborate with engineers for resolution
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and test planning
• Coordinate with offshore QE engineers to maintain shared standards
