Job summary

LighthouseAI is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead automation initiatives and drive quality across our software platform. You will design scalable automation frameworks, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

The role is full-time and remote, with standard ET working hours. You will work with Playwright and AI/LLM integrations to enhance test coverage and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of dedicated professional experience in software QA automation.
• Proficient with Playwright (TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python); Selenium experience acceptable with modern testing architecture.
• Demonstrated experience with Large Language Models (Claude or OpenAI APIs) and practical prompts for QA use cases.
• Experience using Linear (or Jira) for agile issue tracking and sprint planning.
• CI/CD experience integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
• Strong Agile/Scrum mindset and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright or Selenium.
• Incorporate AI/LLMs into the test suite to enable advanced capabilities like self-healing scripts and non-deterministic UI validation.
• Automate repetitive QA tasks, optimize test coverage, and validate dynamic content.
• Track defects and regressions; manage sprint tasks using Linear or Jira.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data scientists to validate risk early.
