Job summary

Phenom is seeking a Product Development Engineer I (AI-Native) for an onsite role. You will transform ideas and customer needs into working features, owning them from prototype to production, with broad ownership and minimal meetings.

You will build, validate, and ship AI-enabled capabilities, maintain agent context, and ensure safe, auditable decisions. Strong communication and adaptability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of software development experience is expected.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and software design.

Responsibilities

• Build innovative products on the Phenom platform, prototype quickly and harden valuable assets.
• Take ideas to production, designing, building, and validating features end-to-end.
• Create reusable agentic skills and ensure next builds reuse proven assets.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering with coding agents and custom skills.
• Run controlled debugging using logs, traces, and incidents to fix root causes.
• Own delivery to customers with deployment gates and hypercare support.
• Maintain rich context for agents and guardrails for safe operation.
• Collaborate with platform and reliability engineers to ship features.
