Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a role focused on defining AI-native software products and building experiences that enable collaboration with AI agents, automate complex workflows, and create new classes of applications.

You will collaborate with product design, backend, frontend, enterprise features, and model capabilities to ship quickly, learn from usage, and iterate. The team builds AI-powered code review, workflow automation, and future agentic experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack engineering skills and experience shipping customer-facing products from concept to production to refinement.
• Experience building developer tools, SaaS products, workflow systems, collaboration tools, or AI-powered products.
• Excellent ability to translate user feedback into product improvements.
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows and agentic software systems.
• Experience with enterprise software concepts such as identity, permissions, governance, compliance, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end agentic product experiences across web, desktop, mobile, APIs, and integrations.
• Work directly with customers to understand how individuals and organizations adopt AI agents, translating insights into product direction.
• Build products such as AI-powered code review, application generation, workflow automation, and future agentic experiences.
• Partner closely with research teams to transform new model capabilities into usable, reliable customer-facing features.
• Design enterprise-ready capabilities including identity, governance, permissions, compliance, auditability, and analytics.
• Prototype quickly, ship frequently, and use product telemetry and customer feedback to guide iteration.
• Help define entirely new interaction patterns between humans and AI agents to accomplish tasks together.
